Removing smoke smell and odours from the cab
Smoke, food smells, damp, pet odours and long-term use can sink deep into upholstery, air ducts and soft materials. Surface cleaning alone is then often not enough. With an ozone treatment, we target odour molecules in the cab directly, so the smell is not just masked but actually neutralised. This makes the treatment suitable after intensive use, when drivers change, or when a vehicle needs to look professional again before going back into service.
When is ozone treatment suitable?
An ozone treatment is most effective when the truck cab is technically clean but a smell still lingers. That is why we combine odour treatment, where necessary, with interior cleaning, shampoo extraction cleaning or steam cleaning. This way we first remove dirt, stains and contaminated residue, after which the ozone can do its job better. For fleets this is a practical solution: cabs become fresher, tidier and more pleasant for the next trip.

Our approach to ozone treatment
We first assess the condition of the cab and look at where the smell most likely comes from. If there is visible dirt, we advise having it cleaned first. We then place professional equipment in the cab and let the ozone work in a controlled manner. Afterwards the cab is thoroughly aired, so the vehicle can be used again. This gives you a clear, safe and practical approach without unnecessary steps. Ozone (O3) is formed when ordinary oxygen (O2) gains an extra oxygen atom under high electrical voltage. That molecule is unstable and, after cleaning, reverts to ordinary oxygen by itself, leaving no residue or chemicals behind.
